Biographical Sketch: Ms. Augenblick has directed Foundations for Families, an education and child development consulting company that supports families, schools and organizations caring for and educating young children, since 2001. Foundations for Families offers professional development and training to infant, toddler, preschool and school-age staff and parent education to families in Virginia, Maryland and DC. Ms. Augenblick has provided start-up consulting for Early Head Start programs and community-based organizations. She has served as adjunct faculty at Northern Virginia Community College and Wheelock College.
